The finals for the World Cosplay Summit 2010 took place in Nagoya, Japan the past Sunday with representatives from 15 countries and a total of 15,000 audience. The winners of this years summit were from Italy, Luca Buzzi and Giancarlo di Pierro cosplayed as Link and Ganondorf from the Legend of Zelda video game franchise.
Runner ups were Orawan Aggavinate and Patawikorn Uttisen from Thailand cosplaying as Cloud Strife and the summon monster Bahamut SIN from Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children, the pair won the special Brother Award for outstanding costume (I'm really happy about this because I'm Thai myself YATTA!), Brazil was also another runner up. The judges were seiyuu Tohru Furuya, anime singer and JAM Project member Hironobu Kageyama, and Canadian anime theme song singer HIMEKA.
