Clamp Festival 2011 Tokyo Stadium Event Planned in Fall

CLAMP Festival 2011 Tokyo, an event dedicated to the works of the manga creator team CLAMP, will take place on September 25 in Tokyo's Ajinomoto Stadium. The theme of the event will be the "fusion of music and imagery," as it will have live concerts, discussion panels, skits, anime dialogue recordings, and other stage shows. Sales of limited items are also planned.

The guests will include Nana Mizuki, Naomi Tamura, Yui Makino, Megumi Nakajima, Rie Tanaka, Mika Kikuchi, Jun Fukuyama, Sakura Tange, Junko Iwao, Sayaka Ohara, Kinya Kotani, and Hiroshi Kamiya. More guest announcements are planned.

There will be actually be two sessions of the event; the daytime session will run from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and the evening session will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Composer Yoshihiro Ike is directing the effort. People who pay for the 7,350-yen (about US$90.80) ticket will receive an original manga booklet by CLAMP at the event. Tickets sales will begin on August 27.
