Anohana, Lotte, Aria the Scarlet Ammo Promos Streamed

The official website for the Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai. (AnoHana) television anime began streaming its second 15-second television commercial on Friday. The story follows several childhood friends who try to reconnect in high school after drifting apart.

Tatsuyuki Nagai (Toradora!, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun) is directing off the scripts by Mari Okada (Toradora!, Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler). Masayoshi Tanaka (Toradora!, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!) is designing the characters, and the singer-songwriter REMEDIOS (Reimy) is composing the music. The anime will premiere in April in Fuji TV's late-night Noitamina timeslot.

The official website for the Astarotte no Omocha! television anime adaptation of the Lotte no Omocha! manga series began streaming the second 56-second promotional video on Saturday. The anime adapts the manga of the same name by Yui Haga (Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts novel illustrator). The story begins when a boy named Naoya (Rina Satou) is brought to a magical world to be a candidate for the harem of the princess, Astarotte (Rie Kugimiya). The anime will premiere in Japan in April.



The Japanese broadcasting company TBS began streaming the second television commercial for the anime adaptation of Chūgaku Akamatsu's Aria the Scarlet Ammo (Hidan no Aria) school detective action light novel series on Friday. The video lists three more of the cast members — Mariya Ise as Riko Mine, Mikako Takahashi as Shirayuki Hotogi, and Kaori Ishihara as Reki — and contains music performed by the singer May'n, but it does not contain actual footage from the anime. The story takes place in Tokyo Butei High School, a special school where armed detectives — "Butei" — are trained to use weapons. The anime will premiere in Japan on April 7.

The official website for the original anime DVDs (OADs) based on Yasunori Mitsunaga's Princess Resurrection manga began streaming a 72-second special promotional video for the second OAD on Friday. (The video is also streaming on the YouTube website.) Tatsunoko Production's OAD of Princess Resurrection's Tokkyū Ōjo stories will ship with the limited edition of the 14th Princess Resurrection manga volume on March 9.
