Macross Frontier is receiving another PSP game adaptation to be titled Macross Triangle Frontier which will be produced by Namco Bandai. As the previous game, it will be centered around a largely single player campaign, 3D action shooter that will be based around the original TV series. A preview for it has been released but it only covers the "academy mode" where you will play as a brand new student and work up the ladder. Once your character is through school you will then be able to use him through the campaign mode.
It is expected to be released in store on Feburary 3rd 2011, Namco will also be preparing a special edition that will include a UMD that will contain the first Macross film of 2011.
