Yahoo! Movies Japan has begun releasing teaser's of Mokoto Shinkai's new animation movie, "Hoshi o Ou Kodomo" (Children who chase lost voices from deep below). The movie is based around Asuna, a girl whos spends her days listening to a mysterious music that reverbrates from a crystal radio her father gave her as a memento. She then embarks on a journey to meet a boy and becomes aware of cruelty and beauty of the world.
Mokoto Shinkai is famous for other well known movies such as, "Voices of a Distant Star", "The Place Promised in Our Early Days", and "5 Centimeters Per Second". An official trailer for the movie is to be expected to be released soon. The movie is expected to be released in Japan in May 2011.
