Premium Edition DVD to also have vocal CD, film's opening-day guest appearances
The official website for the Hetalia - Axis Powers anime franchise announced on November 1 that the Premium Edition DVD for the Ginmaku Hetalia - Axis Powers Paint it, White [Shiroku Nure!] film will include a new ending sequence. The new ending sequence was created specifically for the DVD release, which will also include the original ending sequence screened in theaters.
In addition, the "Premium Edition Matsuri DVD" will have new sleeve art (pictured at right) drawn by the manga creator Hidekaz Himaruya, an exclusive vocal CD with one new character song, a strip of film used during the actual screenings, a special booklet, footage from the film's opening-day guest appearances (director Bob Shirahata and voice actors Daisuke Namikawa, Hiroki Yasumoto, and Hiroki Takahashi), a postcard for a mail-away present, and a picture label. The identity of the character featured on the vocal CD will be announced in the future.
The film will ship in the Premium Edition DVD package and in a separate Regular Edition DVD release on January 26, 2011.
