Not really anime, more of a games thing but recently I have found out that Atlus has dissolved due to financial problems. Atlus, for those who don't know, is the company behind the Persona and Megami Tensei series. All of Atlus' assets will be handed over to Index Holdings as Atlus was a subsidary of Index Holdings.
Even though Atlus will be dissolved future game releases by the consolidated company will still continue to use the Atlus brand name where appropriate.
