Mayo Chiki! Romantic Comedy Anime's 2nd Promo Streamed

Starchild's website for the Mayo Chiki! television anime began streaming the second anime promotional video on Saturday. The Mayo Chiki! anime adapts Hajime Asano's school romantic comedy light novels of the same name.

In the story, Subaru Konoe (Yuka Iguchi) is a beautiful boy who serves as a butler to a classmate named Kanade Suzutsuki (Eri Kitamura). However, another boy named Kinjirō Sakamachi (Satoshi Hino) accidentally discovers Subaru's secret — Subaru is really a girl.

Keiichiro Kawaguchi (Hayate the Combat Butler, Mayo elle Otokonoko) is directing the project at the anime studio Feel with series script supervisor Reiko Yoshida (K-ON!, Chu-Bra!!) and character designer Kōsuke Kawamura. The series will premiere in Japan on July 7.

The manga adaptation has been running in Monthly Comic Alive magazine since last July.
