Hata was responding to a person who asked, "When will the third season come out?" The Hayate the Combat Butler television anime already adapted Hata's manga of the same name into two seasons. Takashi Kumagai, Shogakukan's editor in charge of the Hayate the Combat Butler manga, revealed in an interview with the Mainichi Shimbun paper's Mantan Web site in January that the next step after the Hayate the Combat Butler film is already being planned.
