A television anime adaptation of MinatoSoft's Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai!! adult dating simulation game has been green-lit for this year. Keitaro Motonaga (Katanagatari, School Days) is directing the anime at the studio LARC. Katsuhiko Takayama (Ga-Rei: Zero, Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru) is writing and supervising the scripts, while Mayumi Watanabe (Freezing, Yoshinaga-san'chi no Gargoyle) is designing the characters and overseeing the animation process. Yasunori Ebina (Naruto, Toaru Majutsu no Index) is serving as the sound director at Dax Production.
The slapstick comedy story of the original game is set in a modern-day school and features a boy named Yamato Nanoe who is surrounded by all-warrior female cast. The game shipped in Japan on August 28, 2009.
