Naruto fillers could be ending soon, also: pigs can fly
Naruto Shippuden fillers could be ending soon? Say whaaaaat? News from Jump Festa 11, a Japanese anime and manga event reveals that the Kage Summit and Confining the Jinchuriki arcs will likely take place during 2011. A promo poster (pictured in the gallery) shows Naruto, Killer Bee, Madara, and Sasuke, who are all characters that play an important role in these future canon arcs. Oh and don't get too excited by the date at the bottom as that is actually the release date of an upcoming Naruto movie and not the date of the new arcs.
Finally! I think the thing that kills most shonen series for me is the filler. I used to love Bleach and Dragonball Z among others before they got too filled with bloated episodes and badly written filler arcs, and Naruto is no exception. It's about time the fans get what they want, and get back to the stories that actually make a difference for characters! That's the biggest problem I have with filler right there--that it doesn't actually change anything, and can't by virtue of not being canon to the series, and is therefore a waste of time.
So who's excited for some Naruto that actually matters? Personally, I'll believe it when I see it.
