EMI Music Japan's website has listed famous singer Hikaru Utada's upcoming single "Show me love (Not a dream)" as a theme song for the upcoming live-action based on Asao Takamori and Tetsuya Chiba's 1968 manga Ashit no Joe. The film will be starring Tomohisa Yamashita from the idol group NEWS as Joe Yabuki, an orphan in the slums who rises up on the streets as a boxer. The Daily Cyzo web magazine revealed the live-action film this past February, and the Sankei Sports newspaper then confirmed the news in March. The film's official website began streaming a teaser for the film in August.
